US voices support for Azerbaijan's mine action in liberated lands

On the International Day of Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action on April 4, the United States extends its condolences to the victims and their families who have been affected by landmines and UXO in conflict-affected areas.

According to Caliber.Az, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan posted a publication on its Twitter page about this.

"We are proud to support ANAMA [Mine Action Agency of Azerbaijan] and its courageous deminers. To promote regional peace and cooperation, the US has provided $2.5 million since November 2021 for humanitarian demining operations in areas affected by the conflict," the embassy wrote.
