USAID head: Azerbaijan, Armenia nearing peace treaty
In a press conference in Yerevan, USAID Chief Samantha Power announced that Azerbaijan and Armenia are on the brink of finalizing a peace treaty after years of conflict.
Power emphasized that negotiations between Armenian and Azerbaijani government representatives are advancing towards reconciliation, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
She pledged US support to help Armenia seize this historic opportunity for peace.
