Uzbek PM: Karabakh transforming into prosperous region of Azerbaijan
Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov said Karabakh, an integral part of Azerbaijan, is transforming into a prosperous region.
He emphasised the close ties between the Uzbek and Azerbaijani peoples during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports, citing domestic media.
Aripov noted that his country attaches great importance to Azerbaijani-Uzbek relations, which have now reached the level of strategic partnership and alliance.
“Undoubtedly, dialogue in the spirit of openness and trust, as well as the brotherhood and friendship between Your Excellency and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, further unite our fraternal peoples. The Uzbek people rejoice in the achievements of brotherly Azerbaijan,” he added.
The prime minister made it clear that under President Ilham Aliyev’s wise leadership, Azerbaijan is developing rapidly and achieving greater successes year by year.
“Thanks to your personal efforts and initiatives, Karabakh, an important and integral part of brotherly Azerbaijan, has recently been transforming into an increasingly prosperous region," he stressed.
The Prime Minister also highlighted his ongoing cooperation with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, saying, “We highly value the fruitful work within the Organisation of Turkic States and are ready to make further efforts to strengthen our organisation”.
