Uzbekistan Airways expands Tashkent-Baku route to four times a week starting April
Uzbekistan Airways will increase the frequency of its flights between Tashkent and Baku to four times a week starting in April 2025.
Currently, the airline operates flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, but from April, the service will be expanded to include an additional flight, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
This move comes as part of the airline's efforts to enhance connectivity between the two cities.
According to a statement from Uzbekistan Airways, the increased frequency will provide more options for passengers travelling between Tashkent and Baku.
Notably, AZAL commenced three weekly flights between Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku and Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, from July 25, 2022. The Baku-Tashkent-Baku flights operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
