Victory day celebrations to feature military parades across Azerbaijani cities Details/Photo
As part of the commemoration of the fifth anniversary of Azerbaijan's Victory Day, a series of military marches accompanied by brass bands will take place on November 6 across several major cities in Azerbaijan.
The events will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM local time, with parades scheduled for Baku, Sumqayit, Nakhchivan, and the cities of Khankendi, Shusha, and Lachin, Caliber.Az reports per the Defence Ministry.

In Baku, the capital, the military march will pass through the Martyrs' Alley, Flame Towers complex, Ichari Shahar metro station, and the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theatre. The parade will also weave Azneft roundabout, Bahram Gur monument, and G. Musabayov Park, Abdurrahim Bay Hagverdiyev Street, Huseyn Javid Avenue, Huseyn Javid Park, Parliament Avenue, Olympic Star Sports and Entertainment Centre, Samad Vurgun Street, Officers' Park, Baku State Circus, Heydar Aliyev Palace, Nasimi Monument, Neftchilar Avenue.
In Sumqayit, the march will take place along Primorsky Boulevard, a popular coastal area in the city, while in Nakhchivan, the parade route will span Dilgam Pishavari Street, Aziz Aliyev Street, and Heydar Aliyev Avenue.
Central streets and avenues of the cities of Khankendi, Lachin and Shusha will also hold parades.
