"We should not help the Turks. The only good Turk is a dead Turk" Pashinyan's MPs make shocking statements

While Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is desperately trying to score points in the international arena, showing ostentatious sympathy to the earthquake victims in Türkiye and even sending a rescue team there, members of his Civil Contract Party, National Assembly deputies Hakob Aslanyan and Knyaz Hasanov easily ruined their boss' efforts.

Their statements in the Armenian press made it clear that chauvinism and rabid Turkophobia are deeply rooted in Armenian society, regardless of social status and party affiliation, Caliber.Az reports.

According to Aslanyan, Pashinyan's decision to send rescuers to Türkiye was a purely diplomatic move. The MP makes no secret of the fact that he does not want Armenian rescuers to save Turks. However, we need to take care of Armenia's "reputation" in the world arena.

"Do you understand what diplomacy is? We are not going to offer our condolences, but because of the sending of rescuers to Türkiye, the reputation of our country in the eyes of the international community will rise.

Of course, I do not want the rescuers to get to Türkiye. Who is the Turk that I have to rescue him? I am made to kill a Turk. To me, the only good Turk is a dead Turk. This is what I told my sons back in the 1994 war," Aslanyan said.

Deputy Knyaz Hasanov did not go far from his fellow party member either.

"I am for God's punishment to be stronger than human punishment. I will be happy if the Turkish state is destroyed, and I will be happy if it is severely degraded, and this is not in relation to my people (Kurds - Ed.), but in relation to the Turkish people. If the 25 million Kurds living in Türkiye are helped and armed by some great superpower, then have no doubt that Türkiye will be destroyed by the Kurds. I am sure it will be destroyed," Hasanov said.
