Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov expressed his condolences to the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Türkiye Hulusi Akar, and Chief of General Staff, Army General Yashar Guler.

Caliber.Az reports with reference to the press service of the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan that the condolence message said:

"I am deeply saddened by the news of the deaths and injuries of servicemen of the glorious Turkish Army in the region where anti-terrorist operations carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces to neutralize the terrorist threat and protect civilians from terrorist attacks are underway.

Your pain is also our pain.

We always stand by the brotherly Turkish Armed Forces in the fierce fight against terrorism and fully support you.

I share the grief of the Shehids' loved ones and express my deepest condolences to their families. I wish a speedy recovery to all the wounded.
