Western Azerbaijan Community approves Return Concept
The Supervisory Board of the Western Azerbaijan Community has approved the Return Concept.
A meeting was held on this matter, which brought together intellectuals, specialists and representatives of the community's structures, in addition to board members, Report informs, citing the community's press service.
During the discussions, the Azerbaijani MP and the chairman of the Western Azerbaijan Community, Aziz Alakbarli, noted that a series of events, as well as individual and group meetings with specialists, were held to develop the Concept and hundreds of proposals were put forward.
In addition, a large number of proposals were submitted to the community’s email address and all of them were systematised, and analysed by the Working Group, after which a draft document was drawn up.
Following an extensive exchange of views, the draft was adopted. In line with the procedure, it was then decided to submit it to the Supervisory Board for formal approval.
Alakbarli expressed his deep gratitude on behalf of the community’s leadership to all those who had participated in the development and adoption of the draft Concept.
The Supervisory Board will consider approval of the Return Concept at its meeting on January 26.
