Western Azerbaijan Community decries Armenia’s hypocritical approach to human rights issues

The Western Azerbaijan Community has said that the convening of a meeting of the UN Security Council by Armenia and France in connection with Azerbaijan’s anti-terrorist measures on its territory contradicts the norms and principles of international law, primarily the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and non-interference of countries in internal affairs.

Amid the Armenian prime minister’s statement, the statement made by the Armenian foreign minister in the UN Security Council about the alleged threats against civilians in Garabagh once again shows the lack of restraint and hypocrisy in the policy of this country, the Western Azerbaijan Community told APA.

The Western Azerbaijan Community condemns the hypocritical and destructive approach of Armenia and its patrons in connection with human rights and international humanitarian law, urges Germany and France to stop their biased attitude towards Azerbaijan on ethnic and religious grounds, and not to impede peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and reconciliation between the two peoples.
