Western Azerbaijan Community deems unacceptable EU's interference in Azerbaijan's internal affairs

The Western Azerbaijan Community has said interference by the European Union (EU) in Azerbaijan's internal affairs is unacceptable

At the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, the EU touched upon the issue of "the rights and security of Karabakh Armenians, including the right to return", the Community told APA.

The European Union's interference in Azerbaijan's internal affairs, approach to issues on an ethnic and religious basis, and silence on the rights of Azerbaijanis deported from Armenia to return is unacceptable.

"Such biased statements show that the European Union cannot act as an honest mediator in the process of normalisation of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations," the Community stated.
