Western Azerbaijan Community slams Armenia for ethnic hatred against Azerbaijanis

Western Azerbaijan Community has said that Armenia's reaction to the Community’s meeting with the Human Rights Commissioner of the Council of Europe Dunja Mijatović demonstrates the extent of ethnic hatred towards Azerbaijanis.

The reaction of Armenia to the meeting of the Western Azerbaijan Community with the Human Rights Commissioner of the Council of Europe Dunja Mijatović, to the holding of an event in Warsaw within the framework of the OSCE Human Dimension Conference, to the participation in the event of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities in The Hague once again shows the extent of ethnic hatred towards Azerbaijanis among of this state, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Community’s statement.

According to the statement, by doing this, Armenia also demonstrated how intolerant it is towards freedom of speech and the activities of civil society.

“To avoid dialogue, the Armenian government claims that the Community is allegedly making territorial claims. We reiterate that we have no claims to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia, and our only goal is to ensure the peaceful return of Azerbaijanis to the homeland of their ancestors,” the statement added.
