Youth from Azerbaijan, Türkiye unite in Istanbul to mark Victory Day anniversary PHOTO
On November 6, Istanbul hosted the Azerbaijani-Turkish Youth Forum titled “Five Years of Victory”, organized by the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation in partnership with the Türkiye Youth Foundation (TÜGVA).
The event aimed to commemorate Azerbaijan’s historic victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, promote its significance among young people, and further strengthen the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijani and Turkish youth, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
In their opening remarks, Yusif Valiyev, Acting Executive Director at Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, and İbrahim Beşinci, Chairman of TÜGVA, emphasized that the victory stands as a shared source of pride not only for the Azerbaijani nation but for the entire Turkic world. They underlined the importance of instilling this legacy in the younger generation to preserve unity and common values across Turkic societies.
As part of the program, guests viewed a series of video presentations dedicated to the Victory, showcasing the heroism of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the resilience of the Azerbaijani people, and the extensive reconstruction and development efforts underway in the liberated territories.
