Zagreb backs peacebuilding initiatives in Baku–Yerevan dialogue, says minister
Croatia has expressed its readiness to support any initiatives aimed at advancing peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, underscoring its backing for broader stability in the South Caucasus.
The statement was made by Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
“We will support any action that contributes to the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and in general in the South Caucasus,” he said.
Grlić Radman emphasized that issues related to the peaceful settlement process, along with approaches to engagement with both Azerbaijan and Armenia, are among the key topics on the agenda of the ongoing meeting of EU foreign ministers.
