Zayed Award shares video informing Azerbaijan's president of 2026 honour Video

The Zayed Award for Human Fraternity has released a video showing the moments its board met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and announced that he will be among the 2026 honorees.

According to a statement posted by the organisation on X, the recognition is linked to the Azerbaijan-Armenia Peace Agreement, Caliber.Az reports. 

"The Zayed Award for Human Fraternity shares the news with President Ilham Aliyev that the Armenia–Azerbaijan Peace Agreement has been named a 2026 honoree, recognising efforts toward peace and dialogue," the organisation wrote on X.
