Ex-separatist leader admits failure of Russia's military strategy in Ukraine
Igor Strelkov-Girkin, former head of the "Defence Ministry" of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic," admitted the failure of Russia's military strategy in Ukraine, and also suggested the possible defeat of Russian troops on the Ukrainian front.
"We are less than two weeks away from the semiannual anniversary of the so-called "SMO" ("Special Military Operation"). It is already clear that the "Third Efficient" phase of the operation was even more unsuccessful than the "Second Concrete." Moreover, it was much more unsuccessful, since all the gains we obtained were several villages on the outskirts of the main enemy defence zone along the Sieversk-Soledar-Bakhmut line, as well as Piski and 2/3 of Marinka near Donetsk. To put it mildly, it was "not that much". And these successes have cost dearly, which is not surprising given such a remarkable tactic - storming a long-term fortified area strictly head-on. Before September 11 neither the entire territory of the "DPR" will be liberated, nor even Sloviansk will be taken. The question will soon arise: how to keep what is already occupied with the available forces?
The failure of the Russian military strategy in Ukraine is obvious.
In this regard, I have three suggestions:
1) Shoot the entire Politburo;
2) Repaint the Kremlin in yellow and blue;
3) Start implementing the proven strategy of retreating to Moscow and Stalingrad, to stop the foes at the approaches.
I will not even mention starting to fight in earnest. Nor do I now call for the removal of the Plywood Marshal. Because his resignation right now could save him from deserved glory for his upcoming "successes," Strelkov-Girkin wrote on his Telegram channel.
