"Shusha" musical, visual project - another contribution to promotion of national, spiritual heritage of Karabakh PHOTO/VIDEO

The "Shusha" musical and visual project, dedicated to the anniversary of the liberation of Karabakh and its heart - Shusha city from the 30-year occupation has been presented on the eve of Victory Day, November 8.

The project was implemented with the support of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy.

Long separations and reunions, which became the result of Azerbaijan’s glorious Victory, inspire many art representatives to create new works.

The Shusha project was created on the initiative of a group of talented people and was implemented by SS Production.

The music was written and performed by singer AISEL with song lyrics written by Kubra Karimli.

The sound producer was Emin Karim with Aysel Rajabli being the executive producer of the project.

The project is also attractive by its visualization, which was based on a series of graphic works "Architecture of Shusha city" by the famous artist, Honored Art Representative Elturan Avalov.

The historical monuments and buildings, reflecting the ancient architecture of the city, most of which were partially or completely destroyed during the occupation, were depicted in the paintings.

The pictures turned into a music video clip through the efforts of director Teymur Najafzade.

Along with the unique and inimitable architecture of Shusha - the cradle of culture of both Azerbaijan and the entire region - the clip shows the brilliant artists of this ancient land.

It is possible to see the prominent Shusha residents, namely, representatives of Azerbaijani culture, who made a special contribution and left a bright mark on the country's creative heritage, in the clip.

During the virtual walk, the audience will see such outstanding personalities as Panah Ali Khan, Molla Panah Vagif, Khurshidbanu Natavan, Gasim bey Zakir, Abdurrakhim bey Hagverdiyev, Najaf bey Vazirov, Jabbar Garyaghdioglu, Seyid Shushinski, Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Bulbul and Khan Shushinski.

The clip will be broadcast on the facade of the administrative building of the Ministry of Economy on the eve of Victory Day - November 8 in honour of the soldiers and officers who liberated Shusha, and as a sign of respect for the blessed memory of the martyrs.

The "Shusha" musical and visual project is an important contribution to the promotion of the national and spiritual heritage of Karabakh, the unique pearls of Azerbaijani architecture, and the rich and glorious historical past of Shusha city.
