Turkish ambassador, Azerbaijan Press Council chairman mull media co-op

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci and Chairman of the Azerbaijan Press Council Rashad Majid have discussed media cooperation issues.

Majid stressed that the friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye have affected the cooperation between the media outlets of the two countries, the Press Council told Report.

The chairman noted that the Press Council will make efforts to strengthen contacts between some Azerbaijani and Turkish media outlets.

In turn, Bagci said that the Press Council is always in close cooperation with the Turkish embassy.

He expressed confidence that this cooperation will give positive results in the future.

The views on a number of issues of mutual interest were exchanged at the meeting.
