The responsible employees of Special Representative of the Azerbaijani President in the Shusha district Aydin Karimov’s office and the Shusha City State Reserve led by Special Representative Karimov are on an official visit to the sister city of Shusha - Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria).

The purpose of the visit is to expand cultural ties between Veliko Tarnovo and Shusha and organise mutual visits, according to Azertag.

During the visit, Karimov held meetings with the Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo Daniel Panov and the Governor of Veliko Tarnovo province Georgi Guguchkov, with whom he discussed further cooperation between historical cities.

During the visit, Karimov also visited the Trapezitsa Architectural Museum-Reserve, which was restored by Azerbaijan’s Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2016.
