Azerbaijani, Russian deputy foreign ministers discuss prospects for cooperation
Azerbaijan Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and his Russian counterpart Mikhail Galuzin discussed the state and prospects of cooperation.
The discussion took place as part of the consultations between the two countries on May 31, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The state and prospects of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation, including the most pressing issues of the current agenda, were considered substantively and in the spirit of alliance," the Russian diplomatic department said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that during the meeting, "a thorough comparison of watches" was carried out on some regional and international topics.
“In the light of the contacts between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia [Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan] held in Moscow on May 25 on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the importance of the consistent implementation of all the tripartite agreements reached by them was especially emphasized,” the ministry stressed.
