Azerbaijan to spend AZN 12 billion to restoration in Karabakh in 2023

By the end of 2023, the amount of funds to be spent on the restoration of territories liberated from occupation will amount to 12 billion manats (7,050,676,558 dollars).

Emin Huseynov, special representative of the Azerbaijani president in the territories liberated from occupation, which are part of the Karabakh economic region (except for the Shusha region), has said, Report informs.

Underscoring that the process of restoration and reconstruction is proceeding rapidly, Emin Huseynov stressed that this amount will increase from year to year.

Speaking about infrastructure projects in the territories liberated from occupation, E. Huseynov noted that these territories have great agricultural, economic, and tourism potential, and once the restoration process is completed, this potential will be widely used.
