Azerbaijani, Turkish top brass discuss anti-terrorist operations in Garabagh

First Deputy Minister of Defence – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Col-Gen Karim Valiyev and his Turkish counterpart, Army General Metin Gurak, held a telephone conversation meeting on September 19.

During the talks, they discussed local anti-terrorist activities carried out in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan during the telephone conversation, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

It was emphasized that the fraternal Türkiye, as always, stands by Azerbaijan.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry announced the beginning of anti-terrorist measures of local character in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan.
