Strasbourg pays tribute to victims of Khojaly massacre

As part of the international information campaign "Justice for Khojaly", the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe organised a commemorative event in Strasbourg on the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

According to Report, representatives of diplomatic missions to the Council of Europe, Strasbourg's academic and local communities, as well as the Azerbaijani diaspora, attended the event.

The Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe, Fahreddin Ismayilov, informed the audience about the Khojaly genocide and its victims, stressing the importance of the international information campaign "Justice for Khojaly".

Afterwards, the laureates of various prestigious international competitions - the Honoured Artist of Azerbaijan Jeyla Seyidova and the talented young pianist Nazhanim Dadasheva - performed works by famous Azerbaijani and foreign composers.
