Preparations for Unity-2024 military exercises discussed in Aktau PHOTO

According to the joint plan signed between the ministries of defence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, a conference on planning the operational-tactical command and staff exercises “Birlestik-2024” (Unity-2024) was held in the city of Aktau (Kazakhstan).

As reported to Caliber.Az by the Ministry of Defence, during the conference, in which the Azerbaijani delegation also took part, several issues related to preparation for the exercises and tasks that need to be completed were discussed.

During the exercises, which will take place in July of this year at the Oymasha training ground in Kazakhstan and Cape Tokmak in the Caspian Sea, “Combat training tasks to identify the location of armed conflicts” will be carried out.
