Vladimir Solovyov: I apologize to Azerbaijan on my behalf

I apologize to Azerbaijan on my own behalf, because it happened due to my personal political mistake.

APA reports that the Russian TV journalist Vladimir Solovyov made the statement during the political talk show "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" on the "Russia 1" TV channel.

"Respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries is one of the top priorities of Russia's foreign policy. I personally fully agree with this priority. Yesterday, such an incident occurred on my morning broadcast, which was regarded as unacceptable in Baku. I apologize on my behalf to Azerbaijan for the fact that it happened due to my personal political mistake. Tough times, mistakes happen," said the Russian journalist.

It should be noted that on June 28, Vladimir Solovyov on the air of the Russian state radio "Vesti FM" introduced the representative of the separatist regime on the territory of Azerbaijan temporarily controlled by the Russian peacekeeping forces David Babayan as the "foreign minister of Artsakh" who showed disrespect for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

This morning, on the Youtube channel "Solovyov Live" Vladimir Solovyov made another provocation against our country, calling the separatist regime a "party" under the pretext of apologizing to Azerbaijan. The Russian journalist said that the Azerbaijani side should have been on the air along with the Armenian separatist, and apologized to Azerbaijan for not doing so.

However, having realized that, the Russian TV journalist corrected his political mistake and apologized to Azerbaijan again in the evening broadcast of the political talk show on June 29.
