Azerbaijan to launch Media Registry soon

Azerbaijani Press Council Chairman Aflatun Amashov has said that the Media Registry will be launched in Azerbaijan in the coming days.

He made the remarks at a conference on "Ensuring the information security of society in the context of media freedom and the growing influence of social networks" held at the General Prosecutor's Office, Report informs.

"Significant reforms related to the development of the media have been recently carried out... A new law 'On Media' has been adopted. We should work to increase the level of media literacy in society," he added.
