Azerbaijan participating in biggest defence expo in UAE PHOTO
The 17th International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and the 8th Naval Defense and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) have officially opened in Abu Dhabi.
During the exhibition, Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev and Turkish Deputy Minister of National Defense Musa Heybet discussed the key defence issues, Caliber.Az reports.
The Turkish deputy minister also held talks with Azerbaijani Deputy Defence Minister Agil Gurbanov. The events feature representatives from leading defense companies worldwide, along with renowned experts.
The primary focus is on cybersecurity, space security, defense readiness, and the development of new solutions to enhance the resilience of defense systems and ensure rapid responses to global challenges.
Special attention is given to the role of advanced technologies and international cooperation in the modernization of contemporary defense structures.
At the exhibitions, 1,565 companies from 65 countries are showcasing their products, including more than 730 new participants. Over 3,300 units of military equipment and defense industry products are on display.
