Albano-Udin community chief hails significance of snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan
The Albano-Udin Christian religious community will actively participate in the upcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
The community is holding meetings aimed at the active participation of voters in the elections, Chairman of the Alban-Uda Christian Religious Community Robert Mobili told secki-2024.az website, Caliber.Az reports.
He noted that Azerbaijan is a tolerant country and all necessary conditions have been created for all religious communities in the upcoming presidential elections. Voters are provided with all opportunities to vote.
"In particular, it should be taken into account that these elections are historic in Azerbaijan. For the first time, elections are held on the entire territory of Azerbaijan. The liberation of Karabakh marked the beginning of a new era. Not only our lands, but also our cultural heritage, religious monuments were under occupation. Our lands have already been liberated from occupation and Azerbaijan has fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty. Therefore, holding presidential elections in the new period is of great importance. We will also actively participate in these elections," Mobili added.
