AnewZ documentary: Divided Korea – decades of neither war nor peace VIDEO
AnewZ television channel has produced a new documentary examining developments along the border between North and South Korea, one of the most heavily fortified frontiers in the world.
The film’s director, political pundit and journalist Anastasia Lavrina, visited the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), where she observed conditions along the sharply divided Korean Peninsula, Caliber.Az reports.
The documentary explores how, more than 70 years after the Korean War, the peninsula remains split, with families still separated and the legacy of the conflict continuing to shape both societies. It also highlights the experiences of veterans and reflects on the enduring uncertainty surrounding prospects for Korean reunification amid one of the world’s longest-running unresolved conflicts.
The video currently released is a trailer, with the full documentary to be published on AnewZ in the near future.
