Armenia and Russia discuss trade and economic cooperation in Yerevan
The 24th meeting of the Armenian–Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Yerevan under the co-chairmanship of Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk.
The parties reviewed the implementation of decisions adopted at the previous commission meeting in Moscow in December 2024, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
During the talks, the sides discussed further steps to expand cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats. Particular attention was given to key sectors, including energy, industry, transport, agriculture, digitalisation, healthcare, culture, science, education, and tourism.
Following the meeting, a protocol of the session was signed, along with several bilateral documents at the level of relevant government agencies of the two countries, reflecting agreed areas of continued economic cooperation.
