Armenia set to begin exporting goods to Azerbaijan soon Ruling party announces
Armenia is likely to start exporting goods to Azerbaijan within the next one to two months, according to Babken Tunyan, a member of parliament from the country’s ruling Civil Contract party.
Speaking at a briefing broadcast by Armenian media, Tunyan suggested that the initial exports could include metal products or foil, as well as certain food items that are in demand in Baku, as per Caliber.Az.
He stressed that the process would be driven by market forces rather than direct government decisions.
“This will occur based on market mechanisms. If there is demand for specific products, the first export cases will emerge soon,” Tunyan said, adding that trade flows are determined by mutual commercial interests.
