Armenia, UAE conclude services and investment cooperation deal
Armenia and the United Arab Emirates have signed an agreement aimed at developing cooperation in trade in services and investment.
According to the Armenian government’s press service, the document was signed by the economy ministers of both countries during a ceremony attended by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The signing took place alongside talks between Pashinyan and the UAE leader in Abu Dhabi, where the two sides discussed a range of issues, with a particular focus on strengthening trade and economic cooperation.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed emphasised that the UAE is ready to broaden its partnership with Armenia across various sectors.
For his part, Prime Minister Pashinyan said Armenia places great importance on expanding trade and economic relations with the UAE, noting that there is significant potential for growth and the necessary political will to advance cooperation.
The leaders also addressed the implementation of joint programs and exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
