Armenian forces shell Azerbaijan Army positions along conditional border again
The Armenian armed forces targeted Azerbaijan Army positions with intermittent gunfire on the morning of March 17, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence has reported.
From 01:25 AM to 12:55 PM, Armenian units opened fire from their positions in the directions of Yukhari Zaghali in the Basarkechar district and Digh in the Gorus district, aimed at Azerbaijani military positions, Caliber.Az informs via the ministry.
This latest attack comes amid escalating tensions along the border.
Earlier, on March 16, Armenian forces launched several attacks against Azerbaijani positions in the same region. The first incident occurred around 09:45 AM, when Armenian units near the Digh settlement fired upon Azerbaijani positions using small arms.
The violence continued into the evening, with a second attack at approximately 18:35, when Armenian forces near the Khazinavar settlement targeted Azerbaijani positions again with small arms fire. Another attack followed between 20:10 and 20:45, when Armenian units near the Burun settlement opened fire on Azerbaijani positions using similar weaponry.
