Armenian Parliament speaker says country lacks political opposition

Armenia currently has no functioning political opposition, Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan said in remarks to journalists on November 26.

Simonyan stated that the political agenda in the country is largely driven by the ruling authorities. He added that while some actors are nominally in the role of opposition, they have no meaningful message or influence for the Armenian people, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
