Armenian PM praises dialogue with Baku, calls peace "a fact"
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has hailed his recent meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Copenhagen, as well as with the broader trajectory of Armenia’s ongoing contacts with Baku.
Speaking to journalists following a government session, Pashinyan reflected positively on the outcomes of the dialogue, emphasising progress towards lasting peace between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
“I am satisfied with our meeting in Copenhagen and the results of our contacts in general. I am also satisfied with the institutionalisation of the path to peace. Dear colleagues, peace is a fact,” Pashinyan stated.
The Copenhagen meeting is viewed as a continuation of high-level diplomatic engagement aimed at reaching a comprehensive peace agreement.
