In addition, trials are being prepared for land application of the ATMACA on an 8x8 vehicle. In addition to surface platforms, research continues on its use from submarines in encapsulated form and from F-16 fighter aircraft.
The ATMACA anti-ship missile can be used in all weather conditions, has a low effective scattering surface and the ability to plan flight in three planes within a flight mission. The direct attack of the target is performed in one of three modes: horizontal flight (direct attack), dive (overhead attack), and a re-attack capability.
In addition to an active radar homing head, the ATMACA missile is also equipped with an inertial-satellite guidance unit and two-way data transmission equipment, making it capable of engaging stationary coastal targets.
With the firing test in a very short time, the ATMACA with a range of 250 kilometres will also get the national KTJ-3200 turbojet rocket engine. Dependence on the US and France in this area is coming to an end.
