Azerbaijan artillerymen honing skills at tactical drills VIDEO

Azerbaijani Land Forces have conducted a tactical special exercise involving artillery units as part of the 2024 training agenda.

The exercise's primary objective is to bolster the operational efficiency and combat preparedness of these units, Caliber.Az reports, citing the country’s Defence Ministry.

During the exercise, activities were meticulously plotted on a map, and officers presented their reports on the decisions made in response to various tactical scenarios. Units were mobilized from their permanent bases to designated assembly areas on high alert.

Throughout the exercise, the units navigated a series of obstacles using night vision devices, practiced securing firing positions, and transitioned their combat equipment and artillery installations into combat mode.

The exercise showcased a high level of professionalism, aiming to enhance the knowledge and skills of the servicemen, as well as to improve the command staff's proficiency in managing artillery units.
