Azerbaijan, Belarus forge stronger bonds in post-war reconstruction efforts
Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, met with Dmitry Pinevich, the newly appointed ambassador of Belarus to the country to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
The meeting also focused on enhancing collaboration, particularly in the context of the restoration of liberated territories in Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.
Guliyev congratulated Pinevich on his new appointment, highlighting the strong and growing relationship between Azerbaijan and Belarus. He attributed the positive dynamic in their ties to mutual respect and trust, largely fostered by the close cooperation between the leaders of the two countries.
During the discussion, Guliyev provided an in-depth overview of Azerbaijan’s large-scale urban planning and architectural projects, emphasizing the fruitful collaboration with Belarusian institutions in these areas.
One of the key topics of the meeting was the ongoing project in the Gizil Kangarli settlement in Aghdam district, where an agrarian town is being developed. This project, part of an agreement signed last year, is viewed as an important step toward reinforcing the partnership between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
Ambassador Pinevich reiterated the importance of continued cooperation in the design and construction of settlements and infrastructure. He also emphasized Belarus’ readiness to further develop bilateral initiatives and strengthen ties between the two countries in this critical field.
