Azerbaijan, Chinese partners sign memorandums on cooperation in tourism PHOTO

A trilateral memorandum on strategic partnership was signed between the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC and China Tourism Group (CTG) during the event organized by the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau in Beijing.

According to the memorandum, China Tourism Group Holding will carry out activities on the promotion of tourism products of Azerbaijan, development of new tourism products, online advertising, content marketing through social networks, organization of online and offline events, the State Tourism Agency told Caliber.Az.

A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau and the famous Chinese online tourism platform Qyer.com. According to the memorandum, strategic partnership will be realized on the creation of common content, promotion of brands, etc.

In addition, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC and 9 representatives of local tourism industry were presented at the exhibition of Chinese Overseas Travel and Tourism Market (COTTM) organized by the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau.

The international tourism exhibition included meetings with Chinese media platforms, travel companies working in the outbound tourism segment, and information about Azerbaijan's tourism products.

It should be recalled that last week in Shanghai, the presentation of the China Ready program was held, aimed at turning Azerbaijan into a tourist destination preferred by Chinese travellers and ensuring the readiness of the tourism industry to welcome and serve Chinese tourists.
