Azerbaijan-Egypt relations soar with focus on parliamentary, economic cooperation
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq, Speaker of the Senate of Egypt, who is currently on an official visit to Baku, to discuss bilateral relations between the two nations.
During the discussions, the sides praised the robust and dynamic progress in bilateral relations across multiple sectors, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
The parties underscored the significance of reciprocal visits by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, describing these engagements as pivotal milestones in reinforcing interstate dialogue.
The talks also focused on enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation, with both sides emphasizing the crucial role of legislative institutions in broadening collaboration between the two nations. Additionally, the meeting explored avenues to further develop and diversify mutually beneficial partnerships across various economic and social domains.
