Azerbaijan evacuates 30 foreign nationals from Iran as tensions rise

Azerbaijan has continued the evacuation of foreign nationals from Iran, with around 30 people crossing through the Astara border checkpoint between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The evacuees included 9 Chinese citizens, 15 Pakistani citizens, and 6 Azerbaijani nationals, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Authorities provided on-site medical assistance to one foreign national who experienced health issues during the evacuation.
