GSNP chief: Global South must shape global agenda, not just join it

Speaking at the organisation’s first General Assembly, Kerimli said the platform, despite limited resources, had already begun to establish its presence at major international forums, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

He noted that the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation had recognised and supported its work.

Kerimli added that the organisation plans to strengthen its headquarters and expand its activities through major conferences, political dialogues, regional forums, and training initiatives delivered via deputy secretaries general and partner organisations.

“Our aim is not merely to participate in global discussions, but to create our own platforms, shape our own agendas, and ensure that the voice of the Global South is heard worldwide,” he said.
