Azerbaijan increases non-oil exports by 21%

Azerbaijan's total exports in January-April 2023 amounted to $12.6 billion, while the value of non-oil exports reached $1.2 billion.

According to the data, exports in non-oil sector increased by 21.2 per cent compared to the same period last year. In particular, export of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages increased sixfold, Report informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.

During the reporting period, the value of joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 9.1 per cent to $248.2 million. The value created by agro-industrial products, which occupy a significant place in the structure of non-oil and gas exports, increased by 53.8 per cent year on year - up to $74.7 million.

In 2022 the value of Azerbaijan's non-oil exports increased by 12.3 per cent compared to 2021 and amounted to $ 3,047.67 million.
