Azerbaijan, Iran coordinate on diplomatic efforts, regional concerns
Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas Araghchi engaged in a telephone conversation as part of ongoing diplomatic communications between the two countries.
As Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides discussed Azerbaijan–Iran bilateral relations, the current regional situation, and the ongoing negotiation process, as well as prospects for a diplomatic and political resolution of the situation surrounding Iran.
During the call, Abbas Araghchi provided Jeyhun Bayramov with detailed information on the state of the negotiation process. FM Bayramov, in turn, stated that Baku supports efforts aimed at the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
The ministers also exchanged views on other bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest.
