Azerbaijan joins international military competitions in Pakistan

The opening ceremony of the international military competition "Team Spirit - 2023" was held at the National Center for Combating Terrorism of Pakistan.

Report informs citing local media that Azerbaijan took part in the competition as an observer.

In addition to seven local ones, teams from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Jordan, the USA, Iraq, Kazakhstan and Qatar also participate in the competition. Along with Azerbaijan, Myanmar and Nigeria also take part in the competition as an observer.

The intense competition between the teams will continue from 7 to 9 March. As part of the competition, tasks will be completed to test physical endurance, intellectual abilities and tactical skills.

It is noted that the competition has gained popularity in recent years, as a result of which teams from foreign countries began to take part in it. This gives the contestants the opportunity to learn and exchange experiences, in particular in the field of combating terrorism.
