Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan discuss cooperation in military education PHOTO

In accordance with the "Plan of bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023", a working meeting on cooperation in the field of military education and science was held at the National Defence University.

Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Ministry of Defence that the rector of the National Defence University, Professor, Lieutenant General Heydar Piriyev discussed the current state and prospects of development of bilateral cooperation in the field of military education with Major General Zhumabek Akhmetov, head of the Department of Military Education and Science of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who is on a visit to our country.

The meeting also included a detailed exchange of views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.

The Kazakh delegation was briefed on the history, structure and organisation of the educational process at the National Defence University.

The guests then visited the War Games Centre of the Institute of Military Administration. Rector of the Institute of Military Administration, Doctor of National Security and Military Sciences, Professor, Colonel Babir Guliyev briefed the guests on the activities of the Centre.
