Azerbaijan, Kenya discuss expanding military-technical cooperation Photo
Azerbaijan and Kenya have held high-level discussions on expanding military-technical cooperation, as Azerbaijani Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev met with Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto during a working visit to Nairobi.
According to the Ministry of Defence Industry, both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamically developing relations between the two countries, noting that high-level visits, political dialogue, and interagency contacts continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation, Caliber.Az reports.
During the visit, Mustafayev also held talks with General Charles Muriu Kahariri, Chief of the General Staff of the Kenyan Armed Forces. The discussions focused on military-technical cooperation and prospects for expanding collaboration.
The minister highlighted the achievements of Azerbaijan’s defence industry, its international partnerships, and the biennial ADEX international defence exhibition. He also briefed Kenyan officials on the large-scale restoration, reconstruction, and humanitarian demining efforts underway in territories liberated from occupation.
