Azerbaijan, Morocco strengthen ties in fourth round of political consultations PHOTO
On January 26, the fourth round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Morocco took place in Baku.
The meeting was led by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev and Morocco’s Director-General for Asia and Oceania Affairs, Omer Kadiri, Caliber.Az reports via the Foreign Ministry.
The sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations across political, trade and economic, energy, transport, tourism, education, and sports sectors, as well as prospects for further cooperation.
Both parties expressed satisfaction with the level of partnership within multilateral platforms and highlighted the need to continue developing comprehensive ties.
Azerbaijan provided updates on recent developments in the region, Baku and Yerevan’s peace agenda, and reconstruction work in territories liberated from occupation. The parties also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
