A graduation ceremony was held at a military unit of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces for the latest Underwater Assault Navy Special Force course.
The event began with a visit to the Shehids’ memorial complex within the military unit, where flowers were laid and respects paid to fallen servicemen. During the ceremony, attendees observed a minute of silence in honour of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and the marrtyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country, followed by the performance of the Azerbaijani national anthem by the military orchestra, Caliber.Az rweoports via the Defence Ministry.
Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov, Commander of the Naval Forces, congratulated the graduates and expressed gratitude to the staff and instructors for the successful organisation of the course, which included professional trainers from both the Azerbaijani and Turkish armies.
Honorary certificates, badges, and valuable gifts were presented to the graduates and instructors from Azerbaijan and Türkiye. The top graduate marked the achievement by attaching an emblem to a symbolic stump, a traditional gesture recognising excellence.
