Russia’s trade envoy highlights Azerbaijan as one of key partners
An intergovernmental document signed in Zangilan defines the strategic directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, Adam Hakimov, Russian Trade Representative in Azerbaijan, has stated, noting that Azerbaijan remains one of Russia’s key partners in the South Caucasus.
He said the document outlines all strategic directions and that it is highly significant for both countries that the signing took place in Zangilan, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
He stressed that one of the priorities for Russian businesses in Azerbaijan will be expanding their presence, including the activity of Russian companies in the liberated territories.
He also noted that Azerbaijan’s industrial parks, technoparks, and special economic zones are seen by the Russian side as important platforms for localising production and further exporting goods to foreign markets.
