Azerbaijan reveals number of its natives killed in Israel
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has said that the number of Azerbaijanis killed in Israel in the ongoing conflict with the Palestinian Hamas movement reached eight.
On October 19, Israeli media reported that three Azerbaijani citizens were killed and one missing as a result of Hamas’s attack on Israel.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend that this information has not been confirmed yet.
According to the Ministry, the number of Azerbaijanis killed in Israel is eight people: Shamil Abbasov (citizen of Israel), Emin Akhundov (dual citizenship), Ilkin Nazarov (dual citizenship), Lior Azizov (citizen of Israel), Roman Gandel (citizen of Israel), Eden Abdullayeva (citizen of Israel), Emil Samuilov (citizen of Israel) and Jiar Davidov (citizen of Israel).
On October 7, a combined attack on Israel. First, a massive bombardment with rockets began from the territory of the Gaza Strip, followed by the penetration of militants by land, water and air. As a result, the death toll exceeded 1,400, with more than 3,300 injured.
